Terms of use

By installing Notban or signing in, you accept these terms.

Your account

Your Notban account is identified by your mobile number. Keeping your phone and SMS access safe is your responsibility; if you lose a device, sign it out from your account page.

Acceptable use

• Don’t use Notban to store or share illegal or abusive content.
• Attempts to disrupt the server, flood it with requests or access other people’s accounts are forbidden.
• Accounts that break these rules may be blocked.

Your content

You own your notes. When you share a note, the people you allow can view or edit it, depending on their access.

Backups and liability

We work hard to keep your data safe, but attachments don’t sync; we recommend keeping automatic backups on and remembering your backup password.

Changes

These terms may change; important changes are announced in the app or on this page.
