Privacy policy
Your notes belong to you. Notban keeps only the data the app needs to work.
Without signing in
If you don’t sign in, all notes, attachments and settings are stored only on your phone and nothing is sent to the server.
After signing in
- Your mobile number, to send sign-in codes and identify your account; a display name is optional.
- Note text, checklists, labels, colors and reminders, for sync and version history.
- Device name and type, app version and last activity for each device, so you can manage them.
Attached images and files, your app lock PIN and note locks are never sent to the server; they stay on the device.
Sharing
A note is visible only to the people you shared it with by mobile number, and you can revoke their access at any time.
Backups
Backup files are created on your phone and encrypted with a password you choose; Notban has no access to it.
Ads and tracking
Notban shows no ads and never sells or hands your data to anyone else.
Deleting your data
To delete your account and synced notes completely, send a request from the Contact us page.
